Dan Santa
Mr. Ph.D. Dan Santa is the Director of the International Relations for the Romanian Broadcasting Corporation (SRR) for nearly 20 years.For more than 15 years he was also the president of the Radio Committee of URTI (International Radio-Television Union) and member of the steering committee of COPEAM.
For the time being he is the Vice-President of URTI. He has held several positions for EBU and carried out an internship at the EBU Brussels office. Dan Santa received his PH.D. in philosophy in December 1999 at University of Cluj (Romania), being specialized in philosophy of culture and religions.
Between ’92-’98 he was a lecture for the Philosophy Professorship at University of Cluj and between ’96-’98 editor in chief for the Ethnic Minorities Department at Radio Romania. Dan Santa worked as a radio programmer-producer, dedicated mainly to mentalities and inter-cultural relations. He is the author of several books of Philosophy and many studies on Culture and Religion and also of radio dramas.
