Lalia Behidj

Lalia Behidj lives and works in Algiers.
She graduated from the Algiers Polytechnic School of Architecture and Urbanism (E.P.A.U.) in 1993. She has been a Programme Director and Director of Radio Chaîne 3, Radio Algeria. She carries out a wide range of activities, in quality of head of the Forum du livre et du droit d’auteur, as a specialized radio presenter and as a journalist for the Vies de Villes magazine. She is working equally as a co-producer of the Kantara programme, the radio cooperation project Les ondes pour la Méditerranée, which gathers together, besides COPEAM, a consortium formed of five of its members. An initiator of a series of radio literary programmes, she is constantly involved in promoting literature at the radio. She will run the forum focused on The Literary Criticism in the ‘Heavy’ Media.
